Al-Arabiya Reception at AMF’12

Tonight, I attended a private reception function held by the leading pan-Arab news channel, Al-Arabiya, in honour of the guests and attendees of the 11th annual Arab Media Forum (AMF).
It was an opportunity to meet, greet and catch up with old friends, colleagues and media heavy-weights such as Abdel Rahman Al-Rashed the managing director of the channel (and former editor in chief of Asharq Al-Awsat), veteran columnist Samir Attallah and Managing Editor Nakhle El-Hajj.
My former colleagues/good friends from Asharq Al-Awsat: Ghalib Darwish, Yasser Al-Ghasslan, Jamal Banoon as well as Diana Mukkalled, Zeina Soufan, May Imad, Katia Jamil and Talal ElMasri (all former colleagues from Future Television) were there too!
I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Sarah El-Dunderawi for the first time as well!
