Speaking at the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin

I am delighted to have been invited to partcipate at the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy event in Berlin, last week, where I was asked to give a keynote speech.
On their website, the ICD defines itself an international, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization with headquarters in Berlin (since 2003), and the USA and that its goal is “to promote global peace and stability by strengthening and supporting intercultural relations at all levels.”
The event, titled: International Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy in the Arab World, was held between the 26th and the 30th of July.
I have documented my findings and interactions during my three day participation in a column on Al Arabiya English which calls for the need of more Arab cultural diplomacy and the backing of courageous western leaders such as Chancellor Angela Merkel and Canadian PM Justin Trudeau who are swimming against the tide and engaging in fear monger in politics.
