Winners of the British Council UK Alumni Awards, announced

It is with great honor and pride that I announce today that I have been selected a winner for the British Council’ UK Alumni Awards for Social Impact.
Sadly, I wasn’t able to collect my award due to work reasons but I thank HE British Ambassador Simon Collins for welcoming all the winners. You may read the awarding here or on the BC website.
Below is a pre-awarding thank you video that I recorded with the British Council should I win the award:
British Council is the United Kingdom’s international organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities: the business of building trust and understanding between nations and to have been selected is a great honor.
The Study UK Alumni Awards 2017 in Saudi Arabia received over 140 applications, of which nine finalists were selected via a competitive process. The awards were presented by last year’s winners in each category. The Alumni Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of alumni and showcase the impact and value of a UK higher education. Award winners and finalists are leaders in their fields who have used their experience of studying at a UK university to make a positive contribution to their communities, professions and countries.
To those who don’t know, I am a Saudi who has lived in the UK to study. I was lucky enough to have received offers from two prestigious academic institutions to take up my masters, in the end I chose the University of Westminster. I graduated with Masters in Marketing Communications in 2010. Prior to this, I majored in business at the Lebanese American University in 2003.
